Film has always been a passion of mine. One of the earliest movies I can remember watching as a child is Disney's Swiss Family Robinson. I remember being captured by the adventure that sprawled out on screen. Even as a very young child, I understood that what I was seeing was not real, that it was fantasy.
From then on, like many children, my imagination grew wild. I expressed my imagination through my drawings. I created characters, stories, and whole realities just by using a pencil and paper. As I grew older, I wanted to take that imagination and have it materialize on screen. The stories changed and became reality. These images are how I perceive the world to be. - JP |
